Web Design Trends that Will Take The World by Storm in 2015

Technology is ever evolving and new technologies are emerging almost on a regular basis. Especially in the case of web designing, it is imperative that you keep pace with the latest technologies or loose it to your rivals. Strong internet presence has become mandatory irrespective of the business and therefore every firm is turning towards the internet in order not to miss any client who may be looking for the business online. To tap the clients and the consumers from all possible sources, it must be a conscious decision to register online presence and a great website design is the first step towards it. Web designing has taken a forward leap and many new technology have transformed it completely. One web approach has taken over and is achieved through adaptive and responsive designing.

Mobile first approach:

With a huge chunk of traffic coming from mobile users, it is very important to tap them with a customized website. Mobile phones and other handheld devices have taken the centre stage and the website design is centred around them. The responsive designing has hence become the latest buzzword. The advantage of responsive design is a single template that can be used for the website and make the website responsive using CSS media queries. There is no requirement for learning any new technologies as it works well with traditional CSS and HTML. With new technologies like Bootstrap and Foundation, the process of making the website responsive has become easier. The responsive designing must be coupled with mobile first approach for better results. Owing to the large number of smart devices, it is challenging to design a website which runs perfectly in every one of its.

Ghost Buttons:

Ghost was a popular CMS used a few months back, but is not seen around now so frequently. However, the ghost button that it introduced has become quite popular and is used by many website designs. Many websites are offering tutorials for making ghost buttons. These buttons are not visible all the time, but appears on mouse hover or by tapping on the mobile phone. Any button with a call-to-action feature must be visible all the time and therefore it seems that this trend is not likely to stay for long, but presently is taking the web designing by storm and is extremely popular.

Tiles and card based designs:

The designs are getting mobile friendly these days and card or tile based designs have become quite popular. This design trend has been brought into fashion by Windows 8 interface design and is likely to rule the roost in the year 2015. Such designs are easily navigable and can also be tapped with ease, enabling the mobile phone users to use these websites with ease. The website with such designs does not appear stuffed and loaded despite having a lot of content. The design is most likely to enjoy popularity in the coming year and will be used by most of the content rich websites.
