AGI
Artificial general intelligence (AGI), also known as strong AI or full AI, is a hypothetical AI that can possess human-like intelligence across a wide range of cognitive tasks. It would be capable of learning, adapting and solving problems in ways that are currently beyond capabilities of machines. This would be without explicit need for programming to solve new problems. AGI would be able to perceive and understand world around it and respond in a meaningful way.
Although it is a theoretical concept, researchers are actively exploring possibilities to achieve it. The development of AGI raises ethical concerns such as job displacement, misuse of powerful AI, and the question of machine consciousness.
