Bounce Rate
Bounce rate refers to the percentage of visitors that enter a website and leave immediately without moving to the following web page within the site or engaging in its contents. It is helpful in analysing the website’s effectiveness in retaining and engaging its visitors. When a site has an increased percentage of bounce rate, it is considered as a lack of competence the site holds in engaging its audience. This indicates the possible issues with the page content or its design that fail to engage the page visitors. The bounce rate is calculated by dividing the total number of single-page visits by the total number of visits.
