Facebook now offers multi-language options helping businesses target a global audience

Have you thought of reaching out audiences at a global level?

Think of all those times when you lost a customer just because your dialect is not the same as theirs…

It’s ok to use your local language if you don’t wish to expand. But if you aim bigger, then let language never prevent you from reaching out to people across the globe. In this era when no geographical barriers can separate people, how can language be a barrier?

Now it’s time to stretch your legs… Chill!!!

Facebook knows your needs and cares for you and your business.

Facebook is forever on an experimentation spree.

Facebook is keen on bombarding people with newer features to help them in their business ventures.

Facebook already lets you publish a language-specific post for your target audience anywhere with its already existing feature.

Here is something that I found out recently:

You might be a social media expert or a business development executive struggling hard to communicate with a global audience and failing miserably in your attempts.

But, don’t worry! Facebook is here to help you…

Facebook has now decided to make it more easier for businesses to reach a global audience in their language with minimal or least manual effort.

Facebook lets businesses publish posts in multi-languages helping them to reach out a global audience.

This brand new feature from Facebook now lets you update the same post in many languages at the same time.

I could observe that this move from Facebook was in an attempt to enhance user experience.

Here is how it works:

Facebook now allows you to update the same post in any number of languages from the original post.

Facebook lets businesses publish posts in multi-languages helping them to reach out a global audience.

In the above screenshot, you can find ” Write post in another language”… Click through.  An array of languages from different parts of the world will appear.

Choose the languages for the nations you are targeting. Write in these languages and publish it. As simple as that!!!! 🙂

Now let me guide you on how to enable this feature:

> Go to settings, click on the General tab, select “Post in Multiple Languages“.

> Check “Allow people who manage this page to write posts in multiple languages“. Save your changes.

How to enable multi-language posts in Facebook Pages

Your post will now reach your people in the language version in which they are using their Facebook.

The original post will receive all the comments and likes.

Here is how Facebook describes the feature:

“Your post will be shown to your followers in a language that is most relevant to them. Comments and likes will be added to the same post.”

So, now what are you waiting for? Start using the feature today and enlarge your customer base breaking all boundaries and geographical barriers that has been preventing your business from expanding at a global level.
