Domain Name System (DNS)

Humans can’t remember all the IP addresses. Hence, we have domain names. DNS servers store an extensive database of domain names and their respective IP addresses. When a domain name is entered, the computer begins a DNS query. After tracking the IP addresses, the user’s browser is connected to the web server, loading the website content. DNS is essential to navigate across the internet and to access websites.
