Font Weight

Font weight is the value that determines the strength of font in documents. There are traditional options like “Bold” to strengthen the text. Using numerical values provides better control over the intensity of the bold text. This measurement is scaled from 100 to 900, proportionally increasing boldness. These flexible points help to create the desired font weight for displaying text. Still, the actual result can differ depending on the font used in CSS. Not all font families support multiple font weights. Since fonts are part of visual communication, the most straightforward way to attract attention is to emphasize specific words. Making the font less dramatic can have a  pleasing effect on the user and aesthetize the website. By adjusting font-weight, designers can control the visual appearance and emphasize text, making it crucial in web design.
