Invisible web
What is the Invisible Web?
Also known as the “deep web”, the invisible web refers to the inaccessible part of the Internet that even the standard search engines cannot enter into.
How does the invisible web affect SEO?
The invisible web is not accessible in the standard search engines, and hence, the data in the web cannot be crawled. As this web is greater in size than the surface web, they are not visible. The probable reasons for this cause maybe the pages having passwords, subscriptions, CAPTCHAs, restricted content, and not hyperlinked with other pages.
Often invisible web is misunderstood for using illegal activities like drug trafficking, but believed that there’s much more to what it means, as 90% of the internet is only accessible through the deep web.
