What is Geo-targeting?

Geo-targeting is a technique for targeting an audience in any geographical location. It can help search engines understand why the content was created specifically for that location. Thus, geotargeting can improve the visibility of the content in local search results. It can be applied to content like images, videos, websites, text messages, and contextual messages like time stamps. 

The strategies for geo-targeting include translating into local content, displaying local currencies, aligning local culture and marketing by enabling discounts for specific locations, and, lastly, designing the content with appropriate designs and colour patterns.
