Internal link

What are Internal links?

Internal links are those links that have been added and are a part of the same website or domain.

Are internal links important in SEO?

Yes, internal links are really important in SEO. The internal links are provided with an anchor text and attached to a page that intends to extend the topic of a particular text.

For example, you may have seen blogs that mention a product’s use and details where it stands more important. In such a case, they also link their product page to it to make it clearer. Thus, internal linking can bring a boost to SEO.

Having a proper internal link structure for the web page can ensure crawling and indexing; otherwise, it would make the website’s presence ignorable or untrackable. Other uses of internal links can be understood as follows:-

  • Relationships between the pages can be established.
  • Content with no links can be saved.
  • High-value (traffic) pages can be linked to other pages, which provides link value to the added page.
