Internet Service Provider (ISP)

Who is an Internet Service Provider?

Internet service providers (ISPs) are companies that provide internet access. Telephone companies, mobile carriers, and cable providers are companies that provide internet, and access comes in different forms. The access can be via dial-up, cable, wireless, or fibre-optic connections.

ISPs differ from mobile data plans. You should need an ISP to utilise internet services for work or home needs. ISPs offer various plans that may suit different needs, including email or web hosting. On the contrary, mobile data plans enable Internet access with limited data options.
