Hypertext

Hypertext is a text system that enable users to navigate and access information by including hyperlinks in text document. Hypertext is the foundational principle of the web by providing interconnected browsing experiences. It’s  structured in a non-linear way, differing from conventional documents. The links of the text can be inline, which means within the body of the text. External and internal links are also common. Navigation links found at the top of websites, like menus and sidebars, are an example. The primary function of these hyperlinks is navigation. It enables user seamless surfing from one resource to another.  Hypertexts  on images, graphics, and videos are referred  as hypermedia. The major application instances of hypertext are the World Wide Web, e-books, and interactive learning sites.  The principles of hypertext will continue to evolve. They wll shape how we interact with digital world in future.
