GUI( Graphical User Interface)
A GUI is an interface that uses visual elements to allow users to interact with a website or device. These visual elements include buttons, menus, icons, headers, footers, main content areas, sidebars, forms, textboxes, modal windows, etc. GUI visual elements are generally classified into input controls, navigation, and informational components.
Every GUI is designed to be familiar and visually appealing, using icons, images, shapes, and colours to perform specific tasks. One example is an email inbox that is an envelope, like an e-letter. This enables users to complete their tasks simply and quickly, strengthening efficiency. The availability of the visual elements itself reduces mistakes than the command-line interface. GUI ensures real-time feedback to reassure the users of their actions and improve navigation and organisation.
