What is Page templates?
Page templates are pre-designed layouts that provide a structure and look for a page. There’s an option to customise to fit your needs. They can be used to create different pages, such as the homepage, about, contact, etc. A page template consists of layout, design elements and functionality.
Layouts arrange the pages based on their elements, such as headers, footers, sidebars, content areas and navigation menus. To design these elements, aspects such as colours, fonts, button styles etc, are used. In addition, features like search bars, contact forms, and many interactive elements were standardised over similar pages. There are areas where page templates are emphasized and used extensively.
